Shahrukh Khan is an Actor, Producer, Television personality, Mentor and Philanthropist  (born 2 November 1965 in New Delh), often credited as Shah Rukh Khan and informally referred to as SRK. Also know as “Badshah of Bollywood” or “King Khan”.

SRK started out his career by appearing in several television serials during 1988-1990. He made his film debut with the commercially successful Deewana (1992). He married Gauri Khan on 25 October 1991. They have three children, son Aryan Khan (1997), son AbRam (2013) and daughter Suhana (2000).

He is most-awarded Bollywood actor of all time only tied with Dilip Kumar. In 2005, Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 2008, SRK in partnership with actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta acquired ownership rights for the franchise representing Kolkata in the Twenty20 cricket tournament Indian Premier League,

Directed by Yash Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It stars Juhi Chawla, Sunny Deol, and Shahrukh Khan in the lead roles.

Story:- Sunil Malhotra (Sunny Deol) is a brave naval officer who always fight for others’ rights. He is in love with the beautiful Kiran Awasti (Juhi Chawla) and hopes to marry her soon, but the only problem in their lives is the occurrence of an unknown caller(Shahrukh Khan) who claims that he is in love with Kiran. Many attempts both by Sunil and the police are made to trap this stalker, but they are all in vain. Now, both Sunil and Kiran’s lives are in danger because the caller is an insane man who will do anything in his power to get what he wants.

What a fantastic movie, perfect direction by Yash Ji and outstanding performance by a new comer Shahrukh khan and his unforgettable dialogue I Love You KKK.. Kiran. And how can we forget Udit Narayan song “Jaadu teri nazar khushboo tera badan” and “Tu Mere Saamne”.

Shahrukh also nominated for Best Villain Filmfare Award for this film. Darr was the third highest grossing Indian film of 1993.

 

No 4:- Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998):-

It was written and directed by Karan Johar, and starred the popular on-screen pair of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in their fourth film together. Rani Mukerji featured in a supporting role, while Salman Khan had an extended guest appearance.

Story:- Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) has just lost his wife, Tina (Rani Mukerji ), due to childbirth. His daughter Anjali and his mother is all he is left with. Tina has left eight letters for her daughter to read on every birthday. The eighth one is the most important. Anjali reads the letter and Tina discusses in the letter about his best friend, Anjali. Through these letters she learns that her mother (Tina) knew that another Anjali (Kajol) was in love with Rahul, and vows to bring them together again.

Sameer lyrics and Jatin-Lalit music, Karan Johar direction(debut film) and perfect chemistry between Shahrukh Khan and Kajol was the highlighted point of this film. And how can we forget evergreen dialogue of this movie “Kuch Kuch Hota hai Anjali Tum Nahi Samhogi.”

No 3:- Swades (2004):-
Swades (2004)Produced and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Gayatri Joshi in her first film.

Story:- In this film. Swades is a film that tackles the issues that development throws up on a grass root level. Mohan Bhargava (Shahrukh Khan) successful Indian scientist returns to an Indian village to take his nanny to America with him and in the process rediscovers his roots. Mohan’s simple quest becomes the journey that every one of us goes through in search of that metaphysical and elusive place called “home”.

Ashutosh Gowariker direction, Genius AR Rahman music, Miss International 2000 Gayatri Joshi simplicity and Shahrukh Khan masterpiece acting was the highlighted point of this film. In this movie  Shahrukh Khan again proved, why he is Badshah of Bollywood.

Swades fail at the Indian box office, it was successful overseas and received universal critical acclaim and a cult following from Indian and other South Asian audiences around the world.


No 2:- Chakde! India (2007):-

Directed by Shimit Amin, Written by Jaideep Sahni  and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Malvade, Chitrashi Rawat, Shilpa Shukla.

Story:- Kabir Khan (Shahrukh Khan) Ex hockey Indian Captain after a disastrous loss to the Pakistan hockey team, Kabir is ostracised from the sport. He and his mother are further forced from their ancestral home by angry neighbours. And after Seven he come back in the avatar of the Coach of the Indian Women’s National Hockey team. The team is a rag-tag bunch of girls with their own agenda. A bunch of girls who have forgotten what it is like to play for the love of the game. Kabir’s disciplinarian style ends up offending the players, lead by the militant Bindia Naik (Shilpa Shukla).  Things change after a brawl with eve-teasers at the local McDonald’s and after that with strong ideation this team made the history in hockey world cup.

Jaideep Sahni script, Shimit’s direction and Shahrukh’s seriousness make the history. Chakde! India know as All time best Bollywood inspiration film and “Jo nahin ho sakta hai, wahi to karna hai” as best dialogue.

 

No 1:- Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995):-

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge also known as DDLJ, is a 1995 Indian romantic comedy musical film. It was written and directed by debutante director Aditya Chopra, produced by his father Yash Chopra, and stars Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.

Story:- Raj (Shahrukh Khan) is the only son of wealthy and London-based Dharamvir Malhotra (Anupam Kher). He meets with Simran (Kajol), and after a few misunderstandings, both are attracted to each other. Simran’s father, Chaudhry Baldev Singh (Amrish Puri), would like Simran to re-locate to India and marry the son of his childhood buddy  Ajit Singh (Satish Shah). When Raj finds out that Simran has left London, Raj leaves for India with a mission at his hands, to claim his lady love under the noses of her whole family.

Aditya Chopra’s magic, Jatin Lalit music and most amazing ever green Bollywood Jodi  Shahrukh and Kajol chemistry made history in Indian cinema. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge was declared an “All-time Blockbuster”. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge set the record at its time for the most Filmfare awards won by a single film with ten. It was also the second film to win the four major awards (Best Movie, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress), after Guide in 1966.  In 2001, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge overtook Sholay (1975) as the longest-running film in Indian cinema As of 2014 it is still playing at the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai.

I have still remember, when I saw this movie I was a little kid but this movie taught me about love at that stage. Today is 2014 and still we love Raj and Simran and still we love “Agar yeh tujhe pyar karti hai toh yeh palat ke dekhegi … palat … palat!” , “Ja Simran … ja jeele apni zindagi … ja beta ja” and “Bade bade deshon mein aaisi choti choti baatein … hoti rehti hai” and most romantic Bollywood song “Tujhe dekha to yeh jaana sanam”.
