The screenplay of the film has been written in co-ordination with author Hussain Zaidi, and is an adaptation of his book Mumbai Avengers.

Strong Points:- Brilliant concept by Kabir Khan, Unique storyline

Week Points:- Dramatic ending scenes, poor songs

Critic Rating: 3 out of 5

Business Rating: 3.5 out of 5

Analysis:-

Kabir Khan is the main hero of the film. He has done exceptionally well job. Kabir has managed to truly paint an ideal picture and captured the feelings of most Indians in relation to the 26/11 incident.

Performance wise Saif Ali Khan is good but at times his dialogue delivery does not go along with the intense situation. Katrina Kaif also is good enough but she is average in scenes which demand hig octane drama. Zeeshan Ayub is average and other supporting cast is also good.

Film has interesting plot but screenplay stretched in 2nd half. Dialogues are good. Film has below par editing. Music is unnecessary and cliche. Cinematography is good and production design is awesome. Background music deserves special mention.

The action scenes in the film are well executed and thrilling. What brings them alive on-screen is the fantastic background score which works well with the violence shown.

One Word About the Film: A brilliant plot, teamed with thrilling action, Phantom is a must watch.
