As we already know Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees, which was announced nearly two years ago and slated to go on floors last November, will finally roll by this month-end. However, a major chunk of the film will be shot in September. It is said that the shooting of the film has been postponed as SRK wants to start the shooting of Rohit Shetty’s next.
Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer of ‘Raees’, said, “The shoot will commence from March 28 in Mumbai. We plan to release it on Eid next year.”
But Ritesh added that a major schedule of the movie will start in September. And the reason behind this is apparently SRK’s next with Rohit Shetty. Apparently, the superstar wants to wrap-up Rohit’s film first which is slated to release on Christmas this year.
Industry insiders suggest that the star intends to release the film this Christmas. If that happens, it will clash with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani — a repeat of 2007, when SRK’s Om Shanti Om had a box office collision with SLB’s Saawariya.
